Safety Tip

Safety Hint

To protect your passwords from hackers and the like the best idea is to create an extra set of Numbers and or Characters to begin or end on all your passwords.

The best method for creating and saving passwords is to make them up of 3 sets.
1. "ThiS" ..................... (optional)
2. "mypaSSword"............(main stored password)
3. "ISiT"...................... (optional)

Meaning this wouuld then be your full password "ThiSmypaSSwordISiT" making very very hard to crack.

The combinations that would be required to crack the code would be 62 (includes uppercase and lowercase) to the power of 18.
1 2 3 4 5
62 3844 238328 14776336 etc

So imagine that you have a 3 set password with the main password as "mypassword" then you store that in any place either on or off the web you would ONLY store that part of your pass word, the rest you would keep in your head..so you only have to remember the first and last but use on all sites.

Nobody would know that you do this so nearly makes your passwords impossible to crack...even if they know the middle.

Easy to remember

To create your main password and to make it easy to remember is use a paragraph to make up your password like "Love me tender Love me true" = 'LmtdLmt' or another would be "I need to keep all my passwords safe from predetors" = 'IntkampsfP'. This type of password is easy to remember but certainly much harder to crack by hackers.
Once you have created a good master password then it would be nearly impossible for anyone no matter who they are to obtain your passwords, even if they had access to the place where they are stored.

Note
While it is great that you can do this sometimes it is not always possible as some banks even only allow you to have 6 characters as your password and this makes it very hard to add extra digits to the start and finish however at least they do guarantee your money if its hacked into.
